E.M.A – Manchester


After living in Manchester for 10 years running a lifestyle magazine called VIVA, E.M.A
the wild saucy southerner from Bournemouth found herself behind the decks one night
at a party and became a familiar name around the clubs in the UK.
DJing her handpicked uplifting, vocal, jackin, disco, and tech-house beats it was not
long before E.M.A started playing internationally and took to producing the beats
herself.
Highlights include; playing The Warehouse Project, alongside Hannah Wants and
Oliver Heldens, supporting Rudimental at BCM Mallorca, plus supporting other industry
legends such as; The Fun Lovin Criminals, Brandon Block, Howard Marks aka Mr.
Nice, Erick Morillo, Norman Jay, and Radio One’s Danny Howard.
Making a statement on the international dance scene, E.M.A also has nine festivals in
her record bag including; Hideout Festival, Snowbombing, Parklife, Bestival, Eden
Festival, Junction 16, Happy Festival, Beat-Herder, and Glastonbury.
Just to add to E.M.A list of achievements, she had a show on Unity Radio for two
successful years. Alongside this, E.M.A headed out to Ibiza, summer of 2016, with
Unity Radio to broadcast live from the biggest and best party island, spinning tunes at
Ocean Beach and Carl Cox: Music Is Revolution, The Final Chapter at the legendary
Space.
Over the last few years, E.M.A has been focused on not only spinning the tunes but
producing them too and has tracks signed to No Definition, Klexos and Not So Serious
Records plus has collaborated with some big names in the industry such as Lisa
Lashes and Defected’s, Nick Hussey.
The last two years have also seen E.M.A land a 6-month residency at Bar 93 in
Changsha, China, and working the DJ scene on the Island of the Gods; Bali for 18
months playing at some of the biggest beach clubs in Indonesia including Ulu Cliff
House, Cocoon Beach Club, Alternative Beach, and Double Six Roof Top.
E.M.A is now based in Dubai filling up her diary with some exciting gigs ahead, and
with more new music to be released, it’s a busy and exciting time for this party starter!
